We do not define our Residents by their diagnosis and absolutely believe in our Homes representing a community.

The Care Inspectorate has summed this up very well describing one of our Homes as pioneering and cutting-edge having representatives from all ages in a community setting.

The ethos of this Home is the same as all our Homes that is taking care of our talented teams who take care of our Residents.

Enhance Healthcare is a family run company. We take care of our talented teams and ensure we have a positive team culture in all our Services.

We believe a well-educated team delivers better outcomes for our Residents. To this end we have across our Homes E learning with our Homes having high pass rates over 90%.  As well as electronic learning we do deliver on site training.

All our Homes have First Aid trainers delivering First Aid to the teams.

All Homes have Manual Handling trainers on site.

We have specialized trainers who deliver training on challenging behaviour’s within our care settings.

We are passionate about succession planning and for staff who want to progress in their careers we have a very clear pathway to enable them to reach their full potential.

All our care staff are encouraged to complete their Scottish Voluntary Qualification (SVQ) with many achieving the highest level of SVQ three four and five. Four of our current Home Managers started their careers with us in different disciplines.

We further pride ourselves in retaining our staff. All of our Managers have been with Enhance for many years with two Managers with our teams staying with us from the commencement of Enhance.

The use of electronic care planning that supports the teams to plan the care and interactions with our residents in real time.

The consoles used by the teams can update many platforms at one time linking together the relevant information on the correct platform.

The consoles further can take photographs with the Residents permission to update on activities or clinical information such as wound care.

The electronic care planning is concise accessible and can be read and understood by everyone.

It provides concise handovers to members of the teams and can print information when Residents transfer to another health provider.

We are gradually introducing electronic medicine administration into our Homes.
